Health sector business groups in Ajman Chamber held a coordinating meeting to discuss ongoing activities and priority areas for the next phase. The goal is to meet the groups’ objectives and enhance the emirate’s status as a leading hub for health investment, in line with the Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to boost the economic and health sectors and create an attractive environment for investors.
Attending the meeting were Akbar Muhiuddin, Chair of the health sector business groups and Vice President of Thumbay Group, Mohammed Ali Al Jenaahi, Executive Director of Member Support Services at Ajman Chamber, along with group members, including officials and representatives from health and medical institutions in Ajman, held at Thumbay Hospital – Ajman.
The meeting addressed the roles and objectives of the health sector business groups, opportunities for fostering innovation, and adopting global best practices in medical services. This aims to improve the efficiency of the health sector and create a competitive, sustainable work environment, emphasizing the need for collaboration among hospitals and healthcare centers to strengthen Ajman’s appeal as a destination for health investments and medical tourism.
Akbar Muhiuddin stated that the health sector business groups will focus on initiating quality initiatives, enhancing cooperation between medical universities and hospitals operating in the emirate, and developing practical solutions to advance and enhance the competitiveness of the health sector in Ajman, thus improving the overall healthcare system.
Mohammed Al Jenaahi highlighted the importance of the business groups under Ajman Chamber as a strategic platform for fostering communication and integration among the chamber and various sectors.
