The Al-Tameet Power Solutions group, recognized for its electric generator manufacturing at the Sharjah International Airport Freezone, has confirmed that its production operations are running smoothly, despite the global challenges stemming from rising energy costs and raw material prices, as well as supply chain pressures resulting from regional tensions. The company is exploring expansion opportunities within the UAE to keep pace with growing demand and to leverage the supportive business investment environment.
Dr. Khaled Al-Nabulsi, Chairman of the group, shared insights during a media tour at the company’s facility in Sharjah, highlighting that the industrial sector in the UAE continues to perform steadily, thanks to a stable economic landscape, advanced infrastructure, flexible regulatory frameworks, and government support aimed at enhancing business continuity.
He pointed out that the current challenges involve soaring costs of energy and raw materials on a global scale; however, the group has implemented various operational and organizational measures to ensure uninterrupted production while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and quality in manufacturing and supply processes.
Al-Nabulsi mentioned that the group holds a strategic reserve of raw materials valued at approximately 100 million dirhams, allowing it to maintain stable operations and fulfill orders in recent times, including amidst disruptions affecting trade and supply chains in the region.
He added that the factory is currently operating under flexible plans, ensuring production requirements are met and delivery schedules adhered to, while upholding top global quality standards. The company’s current operations primarily focus on meeting the needs of the UAE market and other Gulf Cooperation Council countries amid an increasing demand for backup energy solutions.
Al-Nabulsi revealed that the group is actively in discussions for expansion into other Emirates from Sharjah, as part of its strategy to enhance its industrial presence and expand its production capabilities in alignment with the rapid growth in energy solution demand in the state and the region.
