Annual Rent of 12 Million Dirhams for a Penthouse Apartment in Burj Khalifa

The company “Keeper” has facilitated a deal for the rental of a duplex penthouse in the Burj Khalifa for an annual rate of 12 million dirhams, marking the highest recorded rent for an apartment in the UAE. This reflects the strength and liquidity of the luxury rental market in Dubai, which continues to achieve remarkable milestones despite increasing uncertainty in the region.

The apartment spans over 10,000 square feet, with plans to expand to approximately 15,000 square feet, currently making it the largest residential unit in the building. It features a private outdoor swimming pool and is recognized as the highest duplex apartment with a terrace in the Burj Khalifa. The unit includes a terrace of 2,000 square feet, offering panoramic views of the Dubai skyline. Additionally, the interior design boasts a master suite occupying 2,500 square feet, a private cinema of 1,000 square feet, and a fully-equipped spa, complete with a sauna and fitness area. The residence is adorned with Patagonia marble, Alcantara-covered ceilings, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system comprising 45 speakers, seamlessly blending quality and elegance. The apartment occupies the 87th and 88th floors of the world’s tallest building, setting a new benchmark for luxury rental properties not just in Dubai but globally.

According to Karl Haddad, the apartment owner, “The unit offers exceptional privacy compared to other residences in the tower, which motivates me to continue investing and working in Dubai.”

Omar Abu Anab, co-founder and CEO of “Keeper,” stated, “This deal reflects a clear shift at the top end of the real estate market in Dubai, where affluent individuals are seeking more flexible options while maintaining the highest standards of space, privacy, and luxury.”
