Appointment of CEO for Commercial Affairs at Abu Dhabi Airports

Abu Dhabi Airports, the organization responsible for managing and operating five commercial airports in the emirate, has announced the appointment of Carsten Norland as the Chief Executive Officer for Commercial Affairs. Carsten brings extensive international experience, with a proven track record in leading commercial strategies, diversifying revenue sources, and driving customer-focused growth.

In his new role, Norland will oversee all facets of the company’s commercial operations, which include expanding the route network, managing retail activities, duty-free operations, food and beverage services, property management, and business partnerships.

Carsten joins Abu Dhabi Airports with a wealth of experience in steering transformations and enhancing commercial performance across the aviation, infrastructure, and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.
