The indicators of local financial markets exhibited mixed performance at the outset of trading on Thursday. The Dubai index climbed by 0.82% to reach 5,864 points, fueled by gains in leading banking and real estate stocks, particularly Emaar Properties and Emirates NBD. In contrast, the Abu Dhabi market saw a decline of 0.33%, settling at 9,753 points.
In the Dubai market, Emaar Properties saw a rise of 0.48%, pricing at AED 12.46, while Emirates NBD increased by 1.6% to AED 30.14. Gulf Navigation also experienced a significant rise of 6.3%.
On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi market witnessed notable increases from Dar Al Takaful, which surged by 13.7%, and National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels, which rose by 2.7%. Fujairah Cement also gained 1.97%.
