Borealis PLC has announced its partnership with Honeywell to conduct proof-of-concept tests at its facility in the UAE, utilizing artificial intelligence solutions and tools to significantly enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Through this collaboration, Borealis and Honeywell aim to develop the first autonomous control room in the petrochemical sector, which will manage processes in real-time using AI-driven technologies.
Hazeem Sultan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Borealis, emphasized that the integration of artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, and digital transformation will set new standards for operational processes, innovation, and business performance. He noted that partnering with global leaders in AI like Honeywell will enable the company to accelerate its growth, improve productivity, and enhance shareholder value.
