The Emirates Platinum Group has entered into a strategic partnership with the American company Bim Global, aimed at fostering investments in sustainable and clean energy technologies, as well as providing renewable energy solutions and infrastructure.
This announcement was made during a press conference in Abu Dhabi, where the agreement was signed. The event was attended by Dr. Ali Nasser Sultan Al-Yabhouni Al-Dhaheri, CEO and partner of the Emirates Platinum Group, Dr. Hunaie Atatreh, the group’s director, and Desmond Wilty, CEO of Bim Global.
Dr. Ali Al-Yabhouni stated that this partnership aligns with the visionary leadership of the UAE and its strategic initiatives to promote and expand investments in clean and renewable energy both locally and globally.
He further explained that, under this collaboration, Bim Global will open its regional branch, Bim Middle East, in conjunction with the Emirates Platinum Group, in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. Masdar City is recognized as one of the world’s first smart and eco-friendly cities that depends on solar energy and clean energy sources to establish a carbon-free community.
He added, “At the Emirates Platinum Group, we take pride in establishing Bim Middle East in collaboration with Bim Global, and we are thrilled to welcome this new company into our growing family of renowned and trusted enterprises.”
During the press conference, Dr. Hunaie Atatreh emphasized to the press that the UAE has cemented its position as a global leader in the clean energy sector, achieving significant milestones in the development of renewable energy projects that support sustainability and climate neutrality strategies.
He detailed that the strategic partnership between Emirates Platinum Group and Bim Global aims to keep pace with the rapid changes in the energy sector and aligns with the UAE’s Energy Strategy 2050. This strategy seeks to triple the contribution of renewable energy over the next seven years and inject national investments to meet the growing demand for energy.
He also pointed out that, as part of the agreement, the Bim Middle East regional branch will play a significant role within the UAE and the broader Middle East region.
Desmond Wilty remarked that the establishment of Bim Middle East ensures the transfer of the latest sustainable technologies developed in California, applied in the United States and Europe, to the Middle East and Africa, facilitated by the partnership with Emirates Platinum Group and Bim Global.
