The Al Habtoor Group has announced a significant milestone in the construction of the Habtoor Tower, having reached its highest structural point at 86 floors. This marks the completion of the structural framework for what is set to be the largest residential building in the world.
This achievement is a pivotal stage in the project’s development, showcasing the rapid progress made under stringent quality standards and signaling the transition to the final phase of the construction work in preparation for welcoming the first residents.
Situated at the heart of Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road, the tower continues to establish itself as one of the most ambitious residential projects in Dubai, merging substantial scale with architectural precision and international building standards.
The tower will feature a total of 1,740 residential units, with the group confirming that the handover will occur in phases, starting with over 1,300 apartments during this summer. This represents one of the largest residential handover initiatives in the market.
Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, founder and Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group, stated: “This achievement is not solely about height; it reflects our commitment. From day one, we promised to deliver a project of this magnitude with the utmost speed, precision, and quality, and today we reaffirm that promise.”
He further remarked: “The UAE, particularly Dubai, offers a level of stability, security, and economic strength that is hard to match globally. Therefore, we continue to invest and expand with complete confidence in the future. Soon, this tower will be home to over a thousand families. This exemplifies true development; timely delivery, top-quality standards, and pride.”
This rapid progress has been made possible through the adoption of cutting-edge construction technologies, meticulous planning, and the coordinated efforts of thousands of engineers, specialists, and workers on-site, all under a rigorous safety and quality management system.
As the project enters its final stages, current efforts are focused on completing the facades, interior finishes, and delivering amenities that reflect the high living standards of the development.
The Habtoor Tower is part of the integrated Habtoor City, providing residents with direct access to three luxury hotels, the La Perle aquatic show – the only permanent water theatre in Dubai and the region – as well as a vibrant promenade featuring a selection of international restaurants, shopping, and entertainment options. The destination also includes a fully-equipped medical clinic, enhancing the living and health services within this holistic residential environment.
With the completion of the structural framework, the Habtoor Tower is not just a new addition to Dubai’s skyline; it stands as a symbol of confidence, ambition, and the capability to execute a project of this scale.
