Following the official launch of the notary service by the DIFC courts under Law No. 2 of 2025, Dataflow Group confirms the integration of its AI-driven technologies into this service, marking a significant advancement for the UAE as a global hub for digital governance and secure legal services.
This service is the first of its kind in the UAE, specializing in English documentation. It offers users three options for service: automated self-service, direct virtual access, and in-person service. Eligible documents for notarization include written statements, contracts and commercial agreements, legal powers of attorney, and identification documents such as birth and marriage certificates, among other official papers.
Dataflow provides two key integrated solutions within this service framework. The first is an AI-powered document tampering detection technology that can identify any forgery or manipulation within seconds before the notarization process is finalized. The second is the primary source verification service, which authenticates the document by directly verifying it with the original issuing authority, ensuring the highest levels of legal protection and reliability.
Utilization of Technologies
Judge Omar Al-Muhairi, Director of the DIFC Courts, stated, “The DIFC Courts are committed to employing the latest technologies to serve Dubai’s growing business community and the individuals who rely on our legal services. The official launch of the notary service as part of the 2025 legislative reforms is a pivotal step towards enhancing access to safe, efficient, and legally recognized services. By integrating Dataflow’s verification capabilities, every document processed through this service will meet the highest standards of authenticity, supporting the UAE’s ambition to establish reliable digital governance.”
Reliability
Sunil Kumar, CEO of Dataflow Group, remarked, “The official launch of the notary service at the DIFC Courts represents a landmark achievement in the trajectory of digital legal services in the UAE. We take pride in knowing that our verification infrastructure is central to this service. The combination of AI-driven tampering detection and primary source verification ensures that every document assessed through the service is evaluated against its original source, not just its outward appearance. This is the level of reliability that public services deserve, and this is what we empower organizations to achieve.”
This advancement deepens the collaboration between Dataflow Group and the DIFC Courts, which was first announced at GITEX Global 2024, underlining our commitment to providing governments and regulatory bodies with verification infrastructure that enhances community trust and improves public service efficiency.
