The Dubai Digital Economy Chamber, one of the three entities under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has announced its support and involvement in the establishment and expansion of 308 digital startups in the emirate during the first half of the year. This marks a 39% increase compared to the 221 companies supported in the same period in 2024, showcasing the chamber’s significant role in enhancing Dubai’s reputation as an appealing destination for entrepreneurs and digital startups in various sectors.

The ‘Expand North Star’ exhibition, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Digital Economy Chamber from October 12 to 15, 2023, will bring together leading global startups alongside innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and digital sector leaders to explore the unique growth opportunities offered by Dubai and contribute to building the future of the digital economy.

Moreover, competitions to showcase innovative ideas were held, providing winners with a fully funded opportunity to participate in the ‘Expand North Star 2025’ exhibition, along with competitions for a chance to advance to the final stage of the ‘Supernova Challenge,’ the largest startup competition in the region held as part of the exhibition.
