The Dubai Land Department, represented by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, held a special event to honor real estate brokerage firms that have shown exceptional commitment to employing local citizens, as part of the “Dubai Real Estate Broker Program.” The ceremony took place yesterday at the headquarters of the Dubai Land Department, attended by Omar Hamad Bushhab, the Director General, along with several executive directors and representatives from the real estate sector. During the event, 10 brokerage firms were recognized for their leadership and significant contributions in surpassing the key targets of the program related to citizen employment. This initiative not only rewards these firms with additional points for their classification within the department but also underscores a concrete commitment to supporting the localization of the real estate sector and enhancing the involvement of national talents across its various fields.
The honored companies included Harbor Real Estate, On Plan Properties, Dirham Brokerage, Al Rawad Properties, A.K.N Properties, eXp Realty, Fam Properties, Real Estate Codes, Property Shop Investment, and D&B Properties.
Mohamed Al-Badawi, Acting Executive Director of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, stated: “What we are witnessing today is a tangible example of a conscious partnership between the public and private sectors, resulting in the empowerment of over 20 local citizens per company awarded in the ‘Dubai Real Estate Broker Program.’ This initiative has exceeded its objectives in a short time, thanks to the role of these firms, which have demonstrated that investing in Emirati talent is a strategic choice that reflects institutional maturity and long-term vision. We reaffirm our commitment to expanding the program and enhancing its impact in creating a more balanced and sustainable real estate market.”
