The Dubai Ports Authority, part of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, has reaffirmed its continuous readiness to provide comprehensive maritime services to vessels at the emirate’s ports and docking areas around the clock. This commitment ensures operational continuity with high efficiency while catering to various vessel needs.
The authority highlighted that its advanced operational system allows the provision of a complete range of maritime services, which includes fuel supply, provision of food and medical supplies, crew change services, and other operational requirements. These processes are designed to enhance operational efficiency.
In this context, Captain Ibrahim Al-Blooshi, the Executive Director of the Dubai Ports Authority, emphasized the authority’s dedication to raising awareness among users about the availability and continuity of services. He noted that the authority adopts a proactive approach in communicating with ship operators and owners to promptly meet their needs.
He added, “We continue to work on delivering flexible and responsive services that align with the maritime sector’s requirements by connecting vessels with certified service providers and facilitating access to diverse operational services reliably and efficiently. The authority also maintains ongoing coordination with service providers to ensure operational integration, enhance resource readiness, and deliver services with high efficiency according to top quality standards, addressing vessel needs promptly under all circumstances.”
Additionally, he mentioned that the authority offers direct communication channels with relevant parties and service providers, enabling users to coordinate their requests easily. He confirmed that the Customer Service Center operates around the clock to ensure swift response and service quality.
Al-Blooshi reiterated that the Dubai Ports Authority’s readiness and the continuity of its services are part of its ongoing efforts to support supply chains and enhance maritime traffic flow, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global maritime and logistics hub.
