Emirates Airlines Warns of Fraud Using Its Name on Social Media

Emirates Airlines has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent advertising campaign circulating on various social media platforms, aimed at deceiving users into purchasing fake tickets, sharing personal information, or clicking on malicious links.

In a statement on the social media platform X, Emirates Airlines noted that they have recently detected the proliferation of such campaigns, which utilize fake links and visuals closely resembling the official branding of Emirates. The ads exploit the company’s trademark and visual elements.

To protect its customers and uphold the integrity of its brand, Emirates Airlines has decided to temporarily halt all of its advertising campaigns on social media. The airline is actively collaborating with platform providers to promptly identify and remove these misleading advertisements, often within minutes of their appearance.

Emirates reassured its customers in a message emphasizing that “your safety is our top priority,” urging everyone to remain vigilant and verify any suspicious content before engaging with it.

The airline also advised the public to exercise caution and only refer to official advertisements and communications from the company, which are exclusively shared through its official channels.
