Emirates Airlines Wins 2025 Award for Best Long-Haul Carrier

Emirates Airlines has once again clinched the title of “Best Long-Haul Airline” at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2025, following a vote from over 20,000 readers who praised its exceptional services and global offerings.

The awards ceremony took place at the “Boulangerie Café Royal” in London, where Helen Bren, the UK-based Manager of Leisure Travel Sales at Emirates, accepted the award on behalf of the airline.

Emirates continues to maintain its status as the preferred choice for travelers worldwide, having recently topped the YouGov list of “Top 10 Recommended Global Brands for 2025,” making it the only airline featured in that selection.

In the past three years, Telegraph Travel has recognized Emirates consistently, awarding it the title of “Best Long-Haul Airline” in both 2023 and 2025.

Additionally, in 2024, it was named “Best Airline in the World,” outperforming 90 international carriers based on an extensive study of passenger experiences, evaluated across over 30 criteria including punctuality, baggage policies, destination network, main airport quality, fleet modernity, loyalty program value, and in-flight meal quality.

Emirates maintains its leading position due to its broad network and innovative products. Last year, the airline expanded its reach by launching five new destinations including Shenzhen, Da Nang, Siem Reap, Damascus, and is set to introduce Hangzhou on July 30.

The airline also deployed its latest Airbus A350 to ten global destinations, including Edinburgh, Lyon, and Bologna, aiming to reach 17 destinations by the end of the year. Furthermore, it inaugurated nine travel retail outlets across Asia, Africa, and Europe, while completing the upgrade of 61 aircraft, comprising 31 Airbus A380s and 30 Boeing 777s, as part of a $5 billion fleet modernization program.

Emirates operates 133 weekly flights to the UK, which include six daily A380 flights to London Heathrow, three daily A380 flights to London Gatwick, two daily flights to London Stansted, three daily A380 services to Manchester, and two daily flights to Birmingham, one of which is an A380. Additionally, there are daily flights to Newcastle, an A380 service to Glasgow, and a daily A350 flight to Edinburgh.
