The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has formed a strategic partnership with the Rana Group, an Indian construction company, to launch the “Erisha Smart Manufacturing Hub” in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. This initiative aims to boost the industrial and sustainability sectors within the region.
This collaboration is set to enhance the operations of “Erisha E-Mobility,” a subsidiary of the group focused on electric vehicles, expanding its reach in the Middle East and Africa while bolstering its existing business in India.
An official signing ceremony for the lease agreement was held at the Compass Business Center, attended by Dr. Darshan Rana, Chairman and Managing Director of Erisha E-Mobility, and Ian Hunt, Head of Customer Experience at RAKEZ.
The Erisha Smart Manufacturing Hub will feature a state-of-the-art industrial facility covering 15 million square feet in the Al Ghail Industrial Area, supporting over 150 industrial projects. The hub will prioritize advanced technologies including the production of electric and hydrogen vehicles, renewable energy solutions, and semiconductor manufacturing.
This multifunctional project will incorporate industrial, residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, and financial facilities, along with community centers. Additionally, the project will include hospitals, medical colleges, shopping centers, large retail stores, warehouses, offices, and community service centers, as well as financial institutes.
Rami Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ, stated that Ras Al Khaimah continues to assert its position as a fertile ground for technological innovation and sustainable development.
