During the conference, the “Union for Export Credit” was honored with the “Deal of the Year” award, recognizing its prominent role in supporting the exports of Trafigura, a leading company in the global commodities sector. This accolade comes as a result of the collaboration between the Union, the Abu Dhabi Export Office, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Natixis Corporate and Investment Banking.

Raja Almazrouei, the CEO of the Union for Export Credit, stated that their participation in the conference underlines their strong commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships and their ongoing effort to adapt to global market trends. She noted that the event serves as a crucial platform in the export finance sector. Furthermore, the receipt of the “Deal of the Year” award emphasizes the vital role the union plays in supporting non-oil exports from the UAE by providing flexible and innovative financing solutions that contribute to economic growth and the diversification of national exports.
