Flydubai has announced the launch of its flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok starting July 1, 2026. This will mark the airline’s second destination in Thailand, alongside Krabi.
The airline will operate daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, further enhancing air connectivity between Dubai and the Southeast Asian region.
These new flights will be offered in coordination with Emirates, allowing passengers to enjoy seamless connections through Dubai’s aviation hub, reaching a wide range of destinations. In addition to expanding its presence in Thailand, Flydubai continues to grow its operations in Southeast Asia, serving popular destinations like Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.
A New Gateway
Ghaith Al Ghaith, the CEO of Flydubai, stated, “We are pleased to expand our network in Thailand by launching flights to Bangkok, providing our customers with access to another gateway to the Thai capital. This new step reflects our ongoing commitment to offering more travel options to our passengers. As travel demand continues to recover, we are confident in the resilience of the tourism sector. This new service allows us to align our capabilities with operational needs, particularly as trade and travel increase between the UAE and key global markets.”
Sudheer Sreedharan, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Flydubai, noted, “Bangkok remains one of the most popular tourist destinations favored by travelers for both leisure and business. With the launch of our daily flights, we offer greater flexibility and convenience to travelers, especially during the peak summer travel season. We anticipate strong demand and look forward to increasing our flight frequency in response to this growing interest over the summer.”
The new service is designed to meet the rising demand for travel during the summer season, providing convenient schedules for travelers flying between Dubai and Bangkok. This expansion further solidifies Flydubai’s role in connecting underserved markets with air travel options and facilitating the movement of passengers through its growing network.
