Flydubai Hires 2,967 Employees Since 2020

FlyDubai continues to solidify its reputation as one of the fastest-growing airlines in the region by investing in human capital, which serves as a foundational element for sustainable growth and competitiveness in a highly dynamic industry.

Over the past five years, the airline has significantly focused on attracting and developing talent, having added 2,967 new employees since 2020. This translates to a cumulative growth rate of 28%, bringing the total number of employees to 6,763 by the end of the previous year, reflecting the expansion of operations and the company’s increasing regional and international presence.

FlyDubai is actively working to recruit more Emirati talents, having recently welcomed a selection of young Emirati professionals as part of its efforts to hire local youth and enhance nationalization initiatives within the country by placing skilled individuals in suitable roles across various departments.

To boost the skills of the national workforce, FlyDubai has launched numerous training and development programs in partnership with several global aviation training institutions.

The growth in the workforce aligns with a comprehensive corporate vision aimed at establishing a human resource base capable of supporting expansion plans, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the travel experience.

The company also reported an annual growth of 11% in its employee count for 2025, indicating a sustained momentum and ongoing hiring trajectory.

FlyDubai has established a network of over 140 destinations served by a fleet of 97 aircraft.
