Fujairah Chamber Holds the General Assembly Meeting for the Second Year of the 15th Term

Sheikh Saeed bin Surour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that with the generous support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Emirate is working diligently to realize its ambitious vision for sustainable economic development. This is being accomplished through the enhancement of economic diversification, infrastructure, and technological projects that promote innovation and sustainability, stimulate partnerships between the public and private sectors, and create job opportunities while attracting investments that support the knowledge economy, technology, and artificial intelligence.

This statement was made during his address at the General Assembly meeting of the Chamber for the second year of its 15th session, held at the Chamber’s headquarters.

Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi further noted that in line with the Emirate’s ambitious vision, the Chamber has continued its efforts to promote available investment opportunities and to develop a business incubator in Fujairah that supports small projects through qualifying and financing programs aimed at empowering both male and female entrepreneurs, fostering a comprehensive and supportive environment for them.

He mentioned that the Chamber placed great importance on its presence at economic events and exhibitions organized at both local and Gulf levels, participating in 22 local events and seven at the Gulf level.

Regarding the strengthening of economic and trade relations with friendly and brotherly countries, the Chamber took part in 24 global events and welcomed 13 official delegations from ambassadors and consuls accredited to the country, as well as economic delegations from various nations across the globe. Additionally, the Chamber ensured the involvement of traders and entrepreneurs in its trade delegations.

He also pointed out that the Board of Directors’ report for the second year of its 15th session includes various activities and events held by the Chamber along with its work plan for the upcoming period. He expressed gratitude to all ministries, departments, federal and local institutions, and companies whose cooperation was instrumental in achieving the accomplishments that serve the Emirate and elevate its economy and business community. He extended special thanks to the General Director of the Chamber along with all department heads, advisors, and staff for their outstanding work and valuable achievements.

The General Assembly approved the annual budget and final accounts for the past year and recommended that the matter of appointing an auditor and determining their fees be referred to the Board of Directors.

During the meeting, a documentary film showcasing the Chamber’s activities from June 2024 to June 2025 was presented.
