Grand Imam Participates in Arab Media Summit Held in the UAE

CAIRO – 24 May 2025: At the formal request of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, will be visiting the UAE to take part in the Arab Media Summit.

The event is scheduled to take place in Dubai from May 26 to 28, 2025, according to a statement from the Egyptian Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar released on Saturday.

The Grand Imam is expected to give the keynote address at the opening session, where he will highlight the crucial role of media in tackling modern global issues, fostering dialogue, and upholding social values.
