His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council, met yesterday with Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor Group, one of the world’s leading companies in the hospitality and hotel management sector.
During their meeting, His Highness emphasized that Dubai is continuously solidifying its reputation as one of the world’s top tourist destinations and most attractive markets for global investment. This is driven by its proactive vision, adaptable approach, and long-term strategic planning, as well as its expanding partnerships with major global players in tourism and hospitality.
He highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration and integration between the public and private sectors, particularly in hospitality and tourism, which are essential pillars for Dubai’s economic growth and global competitiveness. His Highness noted Dubai’s commitment to offering a stable and stimulating business environment that allows global companies to thrive, supported by an advanced infrastructure and investor-friendly regulations.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his appreciation for all teams at various Accor properties in Dubai, praising their high-quality services that enhance visitor experiences and solidify the emirate’s position as a leading global tourist destination.
He shared on his account on platform X: “I met with Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor Group, a major leader in the hospitality and hotel management sector, where we discussed Dubai’s projects and initiatives that have turned it into a top global tourist destination and one of the most attractive markets for international investments.”

For his part, Sébastien Bazin expressed his confidence in Dubai’s market prospects, confirming the strategic expansion of the group in the emirate.
