The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in Sharjah took part in the 14th edition of the International Exhibition for Steel and Metal Industries, a significant commercial platform for steel and metal industries in the Middle East and Africa. This event took place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo from September 6 to 8, 2025, featuring prominent manufacturers, global suppliers, decision-makers, and leaders from the heavy industries across various countries.
The authority aims to showcase its innovative investment solutions and attract more international companies looking to expand into regional markets. Additionally, it highlights its leadership role in global and regional trade in steel, along with its competitive advantages and services that appeal to investors both locally and internationally. The Hamriyah Free Zone is recognized as a key hub for steel and iron manufacturing in the Middle East and Africa and serves as an ideal location for specialized heavy industries, hosting over 450 companies within the steel sector across 50 million square feet, which represents 16% of the total area of the Hamriyah Free Zone, amounting to 300 million square feet.
Saeed Salem Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, emphasized that the International Exhibition for Steel and Metal Industries is an important platform for connecting with leading manufacturers and investors in the sector. Participating in this event aligns with the authority’s strategy to directly access targeted global markets. He added that the authority focuses on attracting quality investments that enhance the value chain within the industrial sector hosted by the Hamriyah Free Zone.
