Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, stated, “In 2026, Tashkent will host the inaugural edition of the Global Investopia Dialogues in the Central Asia region, organized in collaboration with the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF).”
Investopia is a global investment platform launched by the United Arab Emirates aimed at connecting investors, governments, and companies with new economic opportunities. Previous editions have taken place in cities like Tokyo and Milan.
Mohammed Al Habbai, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, emphasized the strong strategic ties and robust economic partnership between the UAE and Uzbekistan across various sectors.
By hosting the new edition of the Global Investopia Dialogues in Tashkent, we aim to strengthen economic and investment cooperation between the two nations and open new developmental horizons for the business communities in the UAE and Asia. This initiative will contribute to supporting sustainable economic development and solidifying the UAE’s position as a leading global hub for investment and business, in line with the goals of the “We are the Emirates 2031” vision.
Additionally, the UAE seeks to establish itself as a premier global investment destination. The National Investment Strategy 2031 aims to double annual foreign direct investment inflows and achieve a foreign direct investment stock of 2.2 trillion dirhams by 2031.
