Leading Stocks Propel Dubai Market Gains in Early April Sessions

The Dubai Financial Market began April with strong gains, boosted by a notable performance from leading stocks, which experienced collective increases.

The Dubai Financial Market Index surged by 2.25% at the start of trading, surpassing the 5550-point mark. Meanwhile, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Index rose by 1.4% to reach 9628.95 points.

The stocks of Tecom and Emaar Development topped the gainers list in the Dubai Financial Market, each climbing by 5.5%, followed closely by Emaar Properties with a 5.12% increase and Emirates NBD with a rise of approximately 4.8%.

In addition, the session saw Dubai Financial Market’s stock rise by 3.5%, while Parkin and Union Properties each increased by 3.4%. Dubai Investments and Dubai Islamic Bank also rose by 2.4% each.

On the contrary, Talabat and Salik recorded gains of 1.9%, reflecting the positive momentum that characterized the beginning of the month.
