Millions of Children Traveling on Emirates Flights This Summer

Emirates Airlines is set to unveil an extensive range of new toys and essentials for children onboard this summer, reaffirming its commitment to providing a family-friendly travel experience. As the peak travel season approaches with school holidays, nearly one million children are anticipated to travel with Emirates to enjoy a journey marked by “continuous excellence”.

The new children’s collection highlights the diversity and vibrancy of Emirates’ sponsorship portfolio, which celebrates various sports and arts, including football, tennis, basketball, sailing, golf, equestrianism, cycling, cricket, rugby, music, and literature. There are 12 collectible items distributed across age-specific sets for children aged 0 to 2 years, 3 to 6 years, and 7 to 12 years.

In alignment with Emirates’ commitment to responsible consumption, the new children’s collection features bags and toys crafted from at least 50% recycled materials, including post-consumer recycled polyester and paper sourced from responsibly managed forests.

The infant and toddler sets for ages 0 to 2 provide essential items to enhance the travel experience for young passengers. These include a reusable changing mat, nourishing cream from “Naif”, cleansing wipes, an easy-to-clean bib, a spoon that can double as a teething toy, a soothing stuffed toy that emits gentle vibrations, which can be attached to a seat or stroller, along with a cozy blanket that promotes restful sleep.

Young explorers aged 3 to 6 years will be ready for their next adventure with the “Tiny Treasures” literature-inspired backpack or the Emirates “Adventure Backpack”, perfect for storing their favorite items during travel. Football-themed backpacks will inspire young travelers to pursue their goals, while a tennis-inspired shoulder bag will encourage a champion’s mindset. Additionally, Emirates’ “Fly with Me” magazines will now include a collectible personal card with each issue, along with coloring pages, puzzles, and other fun travel activities.

For children aged 7 to 12 years, a stylish new bag from Emirates’ latest lifestyle collection will be available during travel. This includes a collectible “Big City” shoulder bag, a “Tech Pro” bag, an “Explorer” backpack, and a “Training Day” sports bag. These bags come in striking shades of dark blue, purple, and orange, showcasing a sleek and functional design that makes them ideal for carrying sports or swimming gear, or preparing for an overnight stay or weekend getaway.

The “Little Travellers” collection, available in Emirates’ official store, also celebrates sports, arts, and travel with a new lineup of colorful caps, t-shirts, beach day lunch bags, water bottles, school supplies, keychains, coloring books, stickers, and wooden airplane toys. For children and infants who enjoy dressing up as professionals or characters, Emirates offers complete outfits for cabin crew or pilots for children aged 1 to 10 years, and cabin crew and pilot uniforms for infants up to 18 months.
