Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, emphasized that the UAE is committed to establishing a unique governmental model. This model is characterized by integration and teamwork, focusing on future foresight, transforming challenges into opportunities, and enhancing readiness for the next phase through flexible governmental priorities that align with global developments and yield community impact.
This statement was made during the Government Priorities Forum, organized by the Government Accelerators Center in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. The event saw participation from over 40 federal entities, alongside the attendance of Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Huda Al Hashimi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategy Affairs.
Accelerating Transformation is Key
Al Gergawi stated, “The next phase for the UAE will center on accelerating the transformation towards impactful projects and policies that align with a new phase of economic growth.”
He also emphasized that the guidance from national leadership aims to keep pace with changes and prepare for a period of accelerated economic, social, and developmental growth.
During the meeting, the minister remarked that rapid global challenges necessitate the evolution of governmental thinking tools and a redefinition of excellence and competitiveness to align with global transformations. He noted that collaborative teams drive the design and implementation of transformative, high-quality projects based on integration among entities and accelerated achievements. This approach enhances the country’s readiness for upcoming phases, positively affecting the community and reinforcing the UAE’s global leadership.
Future Government Priorities to Enhance Readiness
The forum featured a comprehensive overview of various upcoming governmental priorities, conducted in two main phases. The first phase focused on evaluating current governmental projects based on impact and priority criteria, while the second phase was dedicated to developing integrative models for joint governmental projects that support the goals of the next phase.
Participants also discussed the reorganization of government priorities to align with global changes, which would enhance the UAE’s readiness through quality projects focused on future growth opportunities. They also reviewed methodologies for accelerating implementation and efficiently directing resources towards the most impactful initiatives.
The forum included presentations of significant transformative projects that reflect the UAE’s approach to turning challenges into opportunities, showcasing existing projects that have made a positive national impact, and introducing new initiatives based on promising developmental opportunities in vital sectors.
