Mustafa Al-Khalafawi Nominated for Membership in the Board of Directors of the Union of Arab Banks

The Board of Directors of the UAE Banks Federation has nominated Mustafa Al-Khalafawi, the CEO of Ajman Bank and a member of the Advisory Council of CEOs within the federation, for membership in the Board of Directors of the Arab Banks Federation.

This nomination has been officially accepted by the Arab Banks Federation, and Al-Khalafawi has been appointed to serve in the upcoming board term from 2025 to 2028.

Al-Khalafawi possesses extensive banking experience spanning over two decades, during which he has held prominent leadership positions at several financial institutions in the region.

Currently, he is the CEO of Ajman Bank, where he leads the bank’s transformation and sustainable growth strategy, and is recognized for his contributions to the development of banking services.

This appointment reflects the confidence of the UAE banking sector in Al-Khalafawi’s capabilities and his role in effectively representing UAE banks on regional and international platforms.
