Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial center in the UAE capital, has announced the appointment of Rashid Al Blooshi as the new Chief Executive of the Registration Authority as of today. He will be succeeding Hamad Al Mazrouei, who has embarked on a new professional journey within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In his new role, Al Blooshi will oversee the registration, licensing, and supervision of non-financial companies operating within ADGM.
Al Blooshi brings extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge, with a remarkable career spanning over 24 years in both financial and regulatory sectors. His previous positions include serving as the CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi.
Additionally, Al Blooshi is a member of various councils and committees at both local and federal levels. His diverse expertise across numerous sectors is expected to elevate the ADGM Registration Authority to new heights and strengthen ADGM’s position in the market.
