The UAE will see the first integrated resort Wynn Al Marjan Island

The United Arab Emirates’ first integrated casino resort, Wynn Al Marjan Island, will open on the rapidly developing Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The new complex will feature 1,542 hotel rooms, 22 private villas, a 20,900-square-meter main casino, 22 restaurants, 15,000 square meters of retail space and 7,500 square meters of conference facilities, Wynn Al Marjan Island has reported. In addition to the main gaming area, the hotel will also feature another casino on the 22nd floor.

The complex will be located approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Dubai International Airport. According to the company, the hotel promises guests panoramic views of the coast, a high level of service, a variety of entertainment options and the signature quality of service inherent in the entire Wynn Resorts chain. The accommodation will consist of both spacious standard rooms and luxurious suites with individual design. In addition to them, there will be 22 Marina Estates villas located next to the 80-yacht marina. The territory around the hotel tower will include a large-scale pool area with private cabanas, outdoor restaurants and lounge areas integrated into the 3.6-hectare landscape design.

Wynn Resorts

Wynn Resorts received its first license to open a casino in the UAE back in 2024, when the construction of the resort was in full swing. Thanks to this, Wynn Al Marjan Island will become the first official gaming resort in the country. Under the terms of the license, Wynn will retain a monopoly on gaming activities in the UAE for the first few years, as the authorities do not plan to issue new licenses in the near future.

As of the end of 2024, construction on the site was progressing intensively. According to official figures, 55% of the structural concrete has been installed, 26 floors have been completed, and 73% of the rooms are already in place. The company expects to complete all construction work by December 2025, with the resort scheduled to open in early 2027.

Al Marjan Island

In parallel, Wynn Resorts is expanding its presence in the region. On Al Marjan Island, the company has acquired an additional 155 acres of land to further develop the resort infrastructure. In addition, in early 2025, Wynn acquired the Crown London Aspinalls casino from Crown Resorts. The aim of the deal is to attract British players to the new resort after its opening. By February 2025, the company had completed the full financing of the Wynn Al Marjan Island project.

The resort’s restaurants will combine haute cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere – from signature dishes by famous chefs to informal family menus. Lounge areas will offer exquisite cocktails, and in the evenings the resort will host performances by world-famous DJs. Al Marjan Island is part of an artificial archipelago and is distinguished by its white beaches and panoramic views of the bay, making it an attractive destination for both tourists and investors.
