Travel Weekly Asia”: Dubai’s Adventures Defy Gravity and Redefine Thrills

The website “Travel Weekly Asia” has highlighted various activities and events hosted by the Emirate of Dubai, describing them as elevating the excitement for adventure enthusiasts. It cites the launch of an array of thrilling experiences, including skydiving, zip-lining, deep-sea diving, and quad biking, transforming the city into a global hotspot for adventure lovers.

The site characterizes these exhilarating activities in Dubai as breathtaking and gravity-defying, redefining excitement. It focuses particularly on the zip-lining experience at “XLine Dubai,” which holds the title for the world’s longest urban zip line, stretching one kilometer above the Dubai Marina skyline, reaching speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour.

Participants embark on their adventure from a height of 170 meters, culminating at the Dubai Marina Mall terrace, where double lines allow for pairs of adventurers.

Additionally, “Big Red Adventure Tours” offers adventures on sand bikes and “dune buggies” specially designed for speed and control on soft dunes. These vehicles are equipped with safety cages and seat belts for enhanced security throughout the experience.

Moreover, the “Fly Boarding” experience combines water skiing and paragliding, enabling participants to rise up to 10 meters above the sea using a powerful turbine. This activity can be enjoyed with “Sky and Sea Adventures” at Dubai Marina.

At “Sky Views Dubai,” located 219 meters above the ground, sightseeing transforms into an adventure where visitors can try the Edge Walk, a unique experience of walking along the building’s outer edge or slide down the transparent Sky Slide between floors.

Meanwhile, “Balloon Adventures” offers hot air balloon rides over the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where travelers soar at an altitude of 4,000 feet to witness the sunrise and falconry displays, followed by a safari in the heart of the desert.

In the mountainous town of Hatta, nature enthusiasts can engage in activities such as hiking, outdoor yoga, mountain biking, and paddling in Hatta Dam.

Visitors can also experience activities like archery, zorbing, or mountain water sliding at “Hatta Valley Hub,” alongside the option of luxurious eco-friendly camping sites.

For those seeking thrills, “Skydive Dubai” enables adventurers to jump from 4,000 meters above Palm Jumeirah, gliding while enjoying panoramic views of the Burj Al Arab and the city skyline. Desert jump spots are also available, with endless views of the sand dunes.

Furthermore, “Deep Dive Dubai,” the world’s deepest diving pool at 60 meters, provides a unique experience through a sunken city simulation featuring submerged streets and steps for exploration.
