The Finance Department in Ajman has successfully conducted 730 training hours during the first half of this year, targeting employees across various job categories as part of its approved training plan for 2025.
The department disclosed that it implemented 17 training programs, primarily focused on enhancing future skills, including artificial intelligence, future foresight, data analysis, leadership, environmental sustainability, and organizational transformation. Additionally, eight extra courses were introduced outside of the original plan to flexibly meet the diverse needs of different departments within the organization.
The training initiative encompassed various administrative and employment levels, with 82% of participants being from the supervisory category and 57% from specialized and executive roles. Moreover, 60% of employees engaged in programs aligned with the established plan.
These training initiatives have successfully addressed 53% of the anticipated future training needs, indicating a proactive approach to forthcoming challenges and requirements.
The plan is designed to cater to all department employees, with a specific emphasis on preparing the second tier of leadership and empowering specialized and technical staff. Training programs were developed using a flexible methodology that considers the operational needs of each department. Evaluation results reflected a high satisfaction rate, with 97% of employees expressing contentment with the quality of the training programs.
