“Brand Finance”: “DP World” Among the Top Ten by 2025

DB World has made its debut in the global top 10 logistics brands, securing the 17th position among the highest value brands, according to a Brand Finance ranking.

The brand value of DB World surged by 39%, reaching a total of $3.4 billion (12.5 billion AED).

This rapid rise highlights DB World’s bold transformation from a traditional port and terminal operator to a global leader in customized integrated supply chain solutions.

The report indicates that logistics brands are rapidly evolving to meet new demands across global supply chains.

While American brands continue to dominate in terms of size and visibility, competing firms from Asia and the Middle East, such as JD Logistics, SF Express, Hyundai Glovis, and DP World, are experiencing swift growth thanks to innovation, sustainability, and digital leadership. These changes mark a new chapter in the logistics services sector.

Chinese JD Logistics topped the sector with a score of 90.6, followed by SF Express at 90.4, JR at 89.8, Hyundai Glovis at 86.1, and USPS at 85.3.

Canadian National Railway took sixth place with a score of 83.4, followed by Italy’s Ferrovie dello Stato at seventh with 81.7, MTR Group at eighth with 81.6, Deutsche Post in ninth at 80.7, and DB World, owned by the Dubai government, in tenth place with a score of 80.

In the global rankings for the most valuable logistics brands in 2025, UPS retained its position at the top for the eleventh consecutive year despite a 6% drop in brand value to $32.6 billion.

FedEx, also facing a decline of 20% in brand value to $22.9 billion, held the second spot for the third year running.

Japanese brand JR rose to third place with an 11% increase in value to $13.3 billion, surpassing German DHL, which decreased by 8% to $11.2 billion.

DHL occupied the fourth position at $11.2 billion, followed by American BNSF valued at $6.7 billion, and Chinese SF Express at $6.4 billion.

In seventh place were both Union Pacific and UPS with values of $6 billion and $5.9 billion, respectively, while China Post reached $5.5 billion. American McLean rounded out the top ten with a value of $5 billion.

Hyundai Glovis emerged as the fastest-growing brand in the logistics sector in 2025, with its brand value increasing by 81% to $3.0 billion.
