Dubai Digital has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) to enhance excellence in strategic procurement and support professional development for personnel in this field within the authority. CIPS is recognized as one of the leading global professional organizations, known for establishing standards and best practices in purchasing and supply.
The agreement was signed by Tariq Al Janahi, Executive Director of Institutional Empowerment at Dubai Digital, and Sam Asherbong, Regional Director of CIPS for the Middle East and North Africa, in the presence of Hamad Al Mansoori, Director General of Dubai Digital.
Under this agreement, the institute will provide practical learning programs and globally recognized certifications to enhance the skills of procurement staff within Dubai Digital, emphasizing practical competencies, ethics, and international best practices. The program is set to run for 18 months, delivered by experts from the institute in Dubai.
