The Dubai Center for Family Businesses, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has launched the inaugural session of its Next Generation Training Program for Family Businesses for the year 2025. This program, grounded in key global standards, offers a transformative leadership experience designed to equip the next generation of family business leaders with essential skills in leadership, governance, and entrepreneurship, enabling them to create sustainable value for their family enterprises.
The first cohort of 2025 features 25 participants from the new generation of family businesses. The program is distinguished by its innovative training methodology, which includes interactive group discussions, role-playing exercises, practical assessments, and real-world case studies tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities that family businesses encounter.
The curriculum encompasses several vital areas essential for achieving sustainable success, including the fundamentals of family business governance, enhancing board effectiveness, entrepreneurship, strategic decision-making, as well as effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
By the end of the training program, participants will have gained multiple competencies to help them balance family dynamics with business management. They will also develop a deeper understanding of governance principles and the board’s role in driving growth. Furthermore, they will learn to implement balanced and effective leadership systems while being equipped with global best practices that align with the needs of the region’s business sectors, thereby enhancing their personal leadership capabilities and professional vision.
