Dubai Gardens Attract 16.7 Million Visitors in the First Half of 2025

The public parks and recreational facilities operated by Dubai Municipality have experienced a remarkable surge in visitor numbers during the first half of 2025, attracting over 16.7 million guests. This figure reflects an increase of more than 250,000 visitors compared to the same period in 2024. This growth underscores the appeal of these locations as vibrant recreational and tourist destinations, offering top-notch comfort and happiness for residents and visitors alike, thus reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global hub for tourism and entertainment.

The five major parks in the emirate, including Zabeel, Mushrif National Park, Al Safa, Al Mamzar, and Al Khor, welcomed a total of 3.7 million visitors. The overall number of guests at the 211 public parks exceeded 11.4 million, with additional numbers of around 813,000 visitors to the Quranic Park, 748,000 to Dubai Frame, and 51,000 to Children’s City.

Continuous Development

Bader Anouhi, the Executive Director of the Public Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, highlighted that ongoing investments have led to enhancements in parks and recreational sites, transforming them into key entertainment hubs with unique tourist appeal. These locations consistently attract both residents and tourists throughout the year, offering an unparalleled blend of recreational, social, and tourism experiences. This influx reflects Dubai Municipality’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the design of parks and facilities, ensuring the availability of public spaces that elevate the quality of life. Moreover, it cements Dubai’s reputation as a leading global tourist destination, demonstrating its ability to provide an urban model that balances luxury and sustainability, while creating extraordinary locations that contribute to the happiness of both residents and visitors and support its thriving economy.

Global Standards

Dubai Municipality has designed the parks and facilities in accordance with the highest global urban standards, making them exemplary in meeting the comfort, luxury, and happiness needs of both residents and visitors. With meticulous planning of every detail, these spaces offer a unique combination of entertainment, relaxation, and enjoyment, thereby enhancing Dubai’s global leadership in urban innovation.

This development aligns with the objectives outlined in the “Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040” and “Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033,” as well as the comprehensive plan to enhance pedestrian pathways, “Dubai Walk,” aimed at transforming Dubai into a pedestrian-friendly city. Such initiatives will also lead to significant improvements in green infrastructure and an increase in open spaces, solidifying Dubai’s position as the best city for living, working, and visiting across the globe.

Dubai Municipality is focused on transforming public parks and recreational facilities into vibrant community spaces, offering unique experiences for hosting recreational and cultural events. This focus also takes into account population growth and community needs while boosting available investment opportunities, as evidenced by the 1,485 events hosted in these parks and facilities during the first half of the year.
