The upcoming fourth edition of the “Make it in the Emirates” event is scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from May 19 to 22, 2025. This gathering aims to unite industrial leaders, specialists, and facilitators from various sectors to examine and enhance procurement opportunities and investments in industry, while also showcasing products manufactured locally and sharing the achievements of companies based in the UAE.
This event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company Group. It will also feature participation from key partners including the Ministry of Culture, ADNOC Group, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
“Make it in the Emirates” serves as a fundamental element of the UAE’s National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology. Its objective is to increase the industrial sector’s contribution to the GDP and to establish the UAE as a leading global hub for manufacturing and advanced technology.
Since its initiation in 2021, the initiative has functioned as a platform to connect manufacturers, investors, and local talent, providing insights into industrial investment prospects, promoting locally produced goods, and celebrating the success stories of UAE enterprises.
The event illustrates the robust achievements of the UAE’s industrial sector, which has significantly contributed to the country’s GDP, reaching AED210 billion—a remarkable increase of 38% since 2021. Additionally, industrial exports surged to AED 197 billion in 2024, marking a 68% rise compared to 2020.
