Gulf Cooperation Council: The Wings of Gulf Nations at Japan Expo 2025 Represent Our Cultural Heritage

His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), commended the significant participation of GCC countries at the Osaka Expo, emphasizing that it reflects the high standards of the council and enhances its influential role on global platforms.

He noted that the Gulf pavilions serve as comprehensive platforms for fostering regional and international cooperation, showcasing the achievements of GCC nations in various sectors, including development, culture, economy, and environment. These displays feature a rich array of diverse experiences that blend heritage with technology, confidently and contemporarily expressing the Gulf identity. He asserted that these pavilions clearly highlight the commitment of Gulf nations to achieve sustainable development goals and promote innovation.

This statement was made during his visit today to the GCC pavilions at the Osaka Expo 2025 in Japan, themed “Designing Future Society for Better Life,” held in Osaka.

The Secretary-General described the rich and distinctive content observed in the GCC pavilions as a professional representation of the cultural heritage and national visions of the council’s member states.
