The Board of Directors of the International Chamber of Commerce – UAE convened for its fourth meeting yesterday at the Dubai Chambers, where it was announced that Salem Al Shamsi, the Deputy Head of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, has been appointed as the Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce – UAE.
During the meeting, chaired by Hamid bin Salem, President of the International Chamber of Commerce – UAE, there was a recognition of the election of the General Director of Dubai Chambers to the Executive Board of the ICC, which comprises over 45 million companies globally.
Bin Salem emphasized that this achievement signifies the strong collaboration between the International Chamber of Commerce – UAE and Dubai Chambers, showcasing the prominent position the UAE holds in the global economic landscape.
The meeting also honored Hassan Al Hashimi for his decade-long service as Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce – UAE, highlighting the high level of performance and commitment he demonstrated in supporting the chamber’s mission and advancing its objectives in serving the UAE business sector and enhancing its international presence.
