Ports and Customs Achieve Global Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility

The Dubai Ports and Customs Authority has been awarded the title of “Global Leader in Corporate Social Responsibility” by the British CSR Excellence Awards, achieving top honors in the “Community Commitment for Government Entities” category after competing with over 300 submissions from various countries worldwide.

Sultan bin Sulayem, the head of the Dubai Ports and Customs Authority, stated, “As we approach 2025, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God protect him, has declared this year to be the ‘Year of Community,’ which has significantly motivated us to enhance our efforts and effective community initiatives.”

Throughout this year, we have focused on delivering sustainable community programs that cater to various groups and contribute to fostering a culture of generosity and strengthening community bonds both locally and globally.

He further remarked, “Winning this prestigious international award stands as a global testament to our deep commitment to corporate social responsibility, reflecting the vision of our wise leadership that prioritizes the development of a cohesive and prosperous society.”

Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of the Dubai Ports and Customs Authority, articulated that the organization is honored to receive this award from a prestigious global entity due to its innovative community initiatives and charitable projects that uplift human value within society. He emphasized that alongside its role in enhancing Dubai’s status as a leading sustainable hub for the global economy and achieving the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the Authority is committed to fulfilling its humanitarian responsibilities.
