In accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, it has been announced by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court, that the “Nafes” program will be extended until the year 2040. This decision reflects a strong national approach aimed at prioritizing citizens and establishing the empowerment of national talents as a key factor to enhance the country’s competitiveness and to strengthen the sustainability of its comprehensive development journey.
The announcement includes a series of updates to the “Nafes” program, coinciding with the “Year of the Family.” This will introduce specialized programs to support the children of female citizens and the wives of male citizens working in the private sector. Additionally, a child allowance without a limit on the number of children will be implemented, aimed at promoting family stability and enhancing quality of life.
In a post on the social media platform “X,” His Highness stated: “In accordance with the directives of the President, we announce the extension of the Nafes program until 2040, affirming a strong national approach that prioritizes the citizen and positions the empowerment of national talents as a fundamental pillar for enhancing the state’s competitiveness and sustaining its comprehensive development and progress.”
He further added: “We have also adopted a package of updates to the Nafes program, coinciding with the Year of the Family, which includes launching programs to support the children of female citizens and the wives of male citizens working in the private sector, while making child allowances limitless in number. This is intended to promote family stability and support quality of life, in alignment with the country’s direction towards empowering the community and enhancing its participation in the development journey.”
