Promotional Event for “Shamsa Entertainment City” at Sharjah Airport

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, hosted an innovative promotional event at Sharjah Airport aimed at promoting the “Shamsa Amusement City,” a key attraction for the “Sharjah Summer Festival 2025.”

The event featured the beloved character “Shamsa,” who warmly greeted visitors with her signature smile, engaging with families and children while distributing gifts and promotional coupons. Additionally, free entry tickets to “Shamsa Amusement City” were offered at the Sharjah Expo Center, serving as an initiative to introduce this new family-oriented destination to the public.

Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, the Director General of the Sharjah Chamber, stated that the event aligns with the chamber’s strategy to boost family tourism and enhance Sharjah’s reputation as a comprehensive shopping and entertainment hub during the summer season.

He noted that “Shamsa Amusement City” is a valuable addition to the Sharjah Summer Festival. Jamal Bouzngal, the general coordinator of the Sharjah Summer Festival, emphasized that choosing Sharjah International Airport for the promotional launch provided an ideal platform for direct engagement with visitors, particularly families. Activities at “Shamsa Amusement City” will continue until the end of the month at the Sharjah Expo Center.
