Hello and warm greetings!
The United Arab Emirates celebrated President Trump’s visit by illuminating the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, with a magnificent display of the American flag.
As Trump was in the UAE during a brief tour of the Middle East, the iconic structure shone brightly with the Stars and Stripes, as highlighted in a post shared by the White House on social media.
The White House expressed that the UAE’s gesture was a tribute to America and President Trump, showcasing colors of red, white, and blue.
The government media office of the UAE also released a video capturing the stunning moment the building lit up on a popular social media platform.
The Burj Khalifa, an architectural marvel, stands at an impressive height of over 2,716 feet, making it the tallest man-made structure in history, dwarfing Manhattan’s Freedom Tower, which rises to 1,776 feet.
During his visit, Trump also toured the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as shown in an Instagram post.
The U.S. President is in the UAE to finalize a partnership agreement aimed at establishing a large data center to cater to the growing demands of the artificial intelligence sector, according to reports.
Earlier in the day, Trump was in Qatar, where officials presented him with a controversial gift—a private jet valued at $400 million.
While in Qatar, he visited the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East and announced a significant agreement involving the sale of “$42 billion worth” of military equipment from the U.S. to Qatar.
