During a meeting in Dubai, His Excellency Mohammed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, discussed ways to strengthen financial, economic, and developmental ties between the UAE and a group of Latin American and Caribbean nations. The meeting included Ambassador Francisco Chacón Hernández of Costa Rica and several other ambassadors representing these regions.
This meeting was arranged at the request of the Costa Rican Embassy on behalf of the Latin American and Caribbean ambassadors. The discussions highlighted the significance of promoting these nations as strategic partners of the UAE, aiming to broaden bilateral cooperation through the exchange of expertise and knowledge, while building sustainable communication channels to meet development goals across various sectors.
Al Hussaini praised the strong financial and economic relations that connect the UAE with Latin American and Caribbean countries. He affirmed that enhancing financial and economic cooperation aligns with the UAE’s strategic objectives of supporting regional financial stability and fostering sustainable development with these nations.
Both parties emphasized the necessity of ongoing coordination and consultation to reinforce the frameworks of bilateral relations and solidify collaborative efforts with the Latin American and Caribbean countries.
