Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development Collaborates with Belarus on Food Security

Dr. Obaid Al-Zaabi, the Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, welcomed Alexey Galdebin, the Consul General of Belarus in Dubai. The meeting, which included Ayman Al-Hanawi, the Director of Communication and International Relations at the authority, focused on exploring ways to enhance collaboration in the area of food security.

Dr. Al-Zaabi highlighted the authority’s mission and strategic objectives, emphasizing its areas of operation and investment portfolio within Arab nations. He reaffirmed the commitment of the authority to broaden its cooperation with friendly countries and leverage international expertise to enhance agricultural systems. He noted that the promising agricultural potential in Arab countries provides a strong foundation for establishing pioneering projects with Belarus, fostering partnerships that benefit both parties.

In response, Alexey Galdebin expressed Belarus’ interest in strengthening ties with the authority, reflecting the proactive approach of both sides in promoting sustainable development. He confirmed Belarus’ readiness to share its expertise in this vital sector, underlining the importance of utilizing shared resources and experiences to forge high-quality partnerships.
