Space 42, a UAE-based company specializing in space technology, has announced the signing of a comprehensive memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Angolan military intelligence agency. This agreement aims to integrate advanced capabilities in satellite communications, geospatial data, and artificial intelligence on a global scale.
The MOU was officially signed in the Angolan capital, Luanda, in the presence of Suliman Al Ali, CEO of Commercial Affairs at Space 42, along with senior military officials from Angola. This partnership marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the UAE and Angola, fostering collaboration across various sectors.
The strategic partnership, which is set to last for five years, encompasses a wide range of advanced technology fields, including satellite communications, Earth observation solutions, artificial intelligence technologies, high-altitude platforms, and drone systems for national security, border monitoring solutions, and the development of command and control centers.
Space 42 has established a solid presence in Angola, offering comprehensive coverage across the country through its YahClick satellite internet service. This new partnership aims to further enhance the existing infrastructure with advanced solutions and services facilitated by the upcoming Thuraya-4 satellite.
