Despite the general trend of capital outflows, Kyiv businessman Maksym Krippa has bet on Ukraine’s development. Over the past two years, he has invested over $100 million in various projects, confidently supporting the country’s economic growth. His approach differs from typical strategies – instead of cautiously waiting, he sees new opportunities in unstable conditions.
In an interview with Forbes Ukraine, Krippa shared his view on investment and revealed his key focus areas. Kyiv real estate is essential in his portfolio, as he believes it drives the recovery of the capital’s business environment. For him, it is a financial asset and a long-term bet on the future.
What were the most high-profile real estate deals
Maksym Krippa focuses on exceptional properties with unreplicable strategic value. One such asset was the Parus business center in Kyiv, which he purchased in 2023. The facility had been without a new investor for a long time, but the deal went through, opening up opportunities for effective management and further growth.
After the change of ownership, Parus quickly became one of the most profitable business centers in the capital. The property achieved an occupancy rate of over 90%, well above the typical benchmarks seen in Kyiv’s commercial real estate sector. This result was achieved by optimizing management, upgrading the infrastructure, and taking the right approach to tenant management. At the same time, the acquisition was accompanied by financial challenges. Along with the building, Krippa assumed a loan debt of about UAH 600 million, which required additional solutions to stabilize the asset.
Hotel Ukraine has become another strategic asset in Maksym Krippa’s portfolio. The deal for â‚´2.512 billion deal consolidated its position in the premium real estate segment and became an important milestone in large-scale privatization. This was the first large-scale auction on Prozorro in the last two years, which only emphasizes the significance of this event for the market.

The businessman sees the hotel as a long-term investment with excellent growth potential. He relies on the object’s uniqueness and a timely opportunity when the asset’s valuation allows him to maximize future benefits. After the modernization, the hotel can reach a new level of comfort and significantly increase in value, enhancing its attractiveness for business and the tourism industry.
Other objects and items of property
One of Maksym Krippa’s most interesting acquisitions was an elite estate in Kozyn, which he acquired at an open auction in 2023. The bidding was competitive, and the final amount of the transaction rose to â‚´311.11 million, 60% more than the initial cost of the property.
However, for the businessman, this estate is not just status real estate but an asset with a clear functional purpose. He plans to turn it into a corporate space for Natus Vincere, the most famous Ukrainian esports organization. The location is ideal for holding strategic meetings, training the team, and creating a comfortable environment for the club.
Maksym Krippa manages a broad portfolio of assets covering esports, gaming, and real estate. He owns Natus Vincere, Maincast studio, GSC Game World development company, and two iconic properties in Kyiv: Parus Business Center and Ukraine Hotel.
While it is actively expanding its presence in international markets, a significant portion of its investments remain concentrated in Ukraine. The main focus is on real estate and technology projects with long-term growth potential. At the same time, Krippa’s strategic investments also cover the Middle East, particularly the UAE capital, Dubai, where he invests in premium real estate.
In the last two years, Maksym Krippa has committed over $100 million to advancing real estate development across Ukraine.
