The ADNEC Group, part of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, is gearing up for a dynamic launch in the first half of 2026, featuring a packed schedule of exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and social events at its venues across the UAE. These initiatives underline the group’s commitment to advancing the business tourism sector in Abu Dhabi, which plays a vital role in economic diversification and business growth.
In the first half of the year, the ADNEC Group is set to organize and host 192 diverse events, including exhibitions, conferences, and private gatherings. These will take place across its various locations in the UAE, supporting a wide range of vital and strategic sectors such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, technology, sustainability, energy, defense, security, and entertainment. The events calendar will feature consumer-oriented exhibitions, various sports and cultural showcases, along with public and commercial events designed to enhance community interaction.
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is preparing for a vibrant season with 125 events planned, while the Al Ain Convention Centre will host 67 events during the same period. Additionally, this season will see the debut of 12 events in the Middle East, including the IAAPA Middle East Exhibition, the inaugural UAE International Artificial Intelligence Conference, the M&I Abu Dhabi Exhibition, the Abu Dhabi Master Games, and the World Customs Organization Technology Conference and Exhibition 2026, among others, highlighting ADNEC’s pivotal role as a leading venue and strategic partner for major gatherings in the region.
The year’s agenda kicks off with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, taking place from January 11 to 15, where ADNEC will host over 50,000 participants including heads of state, global sustainability leaders, 450 exhibitors, and 300 speakers, aiming to connect sector leaders and policymakers to accelerate efforts towards achieving climate neutrality. The week will feature several events, including the World Future Energy Summit from January 13 to 15, the Green Hydrogen Summit, and the “Youth for Sustainability” Forum and Center.
From January 12 to 17, the “Attaya” Exhibition will spotlight women’s fashion and jewelry in support of charitable initiatives. The Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony will take place on January 13 to honor the winners for their notable contributions in health, food, energy, water, climate action, and global high schools.
The seventh edition of the Umex and Simtex 2026 exhibitions will occur from January 20 to 22, showcasing the latest technologies in unmanned systems for both civil and defense sectors. Organized by the ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Economic Council, and in strategic partnership with EDGE Group, these exhibitions will bring together innovators, decision-makers, and exhibitors to present the latest advancements in land, sea, and aerial systems, fostering collaboration and business growth in the autonomous technologies sector.
