Dubai Aerospace Industries Signs Agreement to Lease Two Boeing 737 Aircraft to Somon Air

DUBAI AIRCRAFT INDUSTRIES SIGNS LONG-TERM LEASE AGREEMENT WITH SOMON AIR

Dubai Aircraft Industries has announced a new long-term leasing agreement with Somon Air for two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, scheduled for delivery by 2026.

CEO of Dubai Aircraft Industries, Firoz Tarapor, stated that this partnership marks the beginning of a collaborative relationship with Somon Air, highlighting the airline’s ambitions to strengthen its fleet and enhance operational capabilities as the national carrier of Tajikistan.

Tarapor expressed enthusiasm for developing a long-lasting strategic alliance that would facilitate the growth of Somon Air’s fleet over the coming years.

In response, Abdulkasim Valiev, CEO of Somon Air, noted that this leasing agreement is a significant step towards supporting the company’s network expansion, introducing new routes, and improving operational efficiency.

Dubai Aircraft Industries is committed to owning or managing a fleet of approximately 750 aircraft, including 237 Boeing airplanes, with ongoing plans to expand its fleet in alignment with the rising demand within the global aviation sector.
