Data from the U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis has highlighted a resurgence in trade between the United States and the United Arab Emirates, reaching a total of $39 billion in 2025.
The American exports to the UAE surpassed $31.4 billion in 2025, marking a 16.2% increase compared to $27 billion in 2024.
The UAE has maintained its position as the largest market for U.S. exports in the Middle East and North Africa for the seventeenth consecutive year. In 2025, U.S. exports to the UAE supported approximately 122,000 jobs in America.
UAE exports to the United States also grew, totaling $7.6 billion in 2025, which represents a 2.7% rise from $7.4 billion in 2024.
The trade surplus for the U.S. with the UAE reached around $23.8 billion in 2025, showing a significant increase of 21.4% from $19.6 billion in 2024. This positions the UAE as one of the few key trade partners of the United States with a substantial trade surplus in favor of the U.S.
