Union Shipping Introduces Its Inaugural Academy for Logistics Training

Etihad Cargo has announced the launch of the “Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub,” which will serve as the first specialized logistics training academy focused on the air freight sector.

This initiative aims to establish standardized operational, safety, and compliance guidelines across its global partnership network. Given the increasing regulatory complexities and the expansion of networks, the systematic development of capabilities has become a vital foundation for enhancing reliability and sustaining customer trust.

The platform offers both mandatory and optional training programs for Etihad Cargo representatives and stakeholders worldwide. The curriculum encompasses the company’s operational standards, a framework for products and services, and safety and compliance modules that align with international regulations.

Additionally, the platform features globally recognized programs delivered in collaboration with esteemed academic and professional institutions, alongside advanced training in interpersonal skills to improve communication channels with clients.

Stanislas T. Bran, the CEO of Etihad Cargo, stated that the academy ensures that its global partners operate under the same safety, compliance, and service standards.

As our business grows, consistent performance becomes a competitive edge for us. He added that the initiative safeguards the brand image, enhances performance discipline, and directly supports the exceptional customer experience we strive to provide.

Dr. Nadia Bastaki, the CEO of Human Resources and Government and Corporate Affairs at Etihad Aviation Group, expressed that Etihad Airways is dedicated to investing in its human capital, and the academy is a tangible manifestation of this commitment.

By offering easily accessible training courses and a platform for knowledge sharing, Etihad Cargo aims to bolster the skills of newcomers to the air freight industry and those aspiring to advance within it.
